Frequently Asked Question

General Queries

We treat a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, orthopaedic issues, chronic back and neck pain, sciatica, slip disc, knee and heel pain, and age-specific concerns for both children and older adults. If you're unsure whether we treat your specific condition, feel free to call us directly and ask.

We bring together physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, chiropractic care, and clinical Pilates under one roof, led by Dr. Kamlesh Rafaliya, MPT (Ortho), COMT. That means your treatment plan can pull from multiple approaches instead of being limited to one technique.

Yes. Chiropractic care is one of our core services, and for conditions involving spinal alignment or joint restriction, we combine it with physiotherapy where it makes sense, rather than treating them as separate, unrelated services.

Body Align has been treating patients since 2007, with our team bringing over 20 years of combined clinical experience across physiotherapy, sports rehab, and chiropractic care. We've worked with over 54,000 patients across a wide range of conditions.

Treatment Process

Your first visit is mostly assessment — understanding your condition, medical history, and movement patterns before any hands-on treatment begins. Follow-up sessions build directly on that assessment, so treatment is targeted from day one rather than generic.

Yes, when it's appropriate. Clinical Pilates is particularly effective for core strength, postural correction, and rebuilding stability after an injury, and we often integrate it into a broader physiotherapy plan rather than running it as a separate program.

We reassess. Progress is tracked at every session, and if something isn't working the way we expected, we adjust the treatment approach rather than continuing the same plan regardless of results.

In many cases, yes — particularly for conditions like slip disc, sciatica, and certain knee issues, where strengthening and correcting movement mechanics can reduce or resolve the problem. This depends entirely on your specific diagnosis and severity, which we'll be upfront with you about.

Specialized Care

Yes, quite differently. Pediatric physiotherapy is built around play and shorter, engaging sessions suited to a child's attention span, while geriatric physiotherapy focuses on safety, fall prevention, and working within age-related limitations. Neither is treated like a scaled version of adult therapy.

Absolutely. Most of our sports injury patients are active individuals, weekend players, and fitness enthusiasts rather than professional athletes. Our rehab plans are built around getting you back to whatever activity matters to you, at whatever level you play it.

Yes, it's one of the most effective tools we use for it. Since Pilates rebuilds core strength and postural control under a physiotherapist's guidance, it addresses the underlying weakness that often drives chronic back pain, rather than just easing symptoms temporarily.

Yes, post-surgical recovery is a significant part of what we do — including post-ACL, post-fracture, and joint replacement rehabilitation. We work within your surgeon's recovery timeline to rebuild strength and mobility safely.

Practical Information

We're open Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 1 PM and 3 PM to 8 PM & Sunday, Only By Appointment. If those timings don't work for your schedule, give us a call and we'll try to accommodate where possible.

We're located at 121, Raghunandan Society, Dabholi Char Rasta, Surat. You can reach us directly at +91 98980 29885 if you need directions or help planning your visit.

Yes. We don't require you to commit to a fixed package upfront — after your initial assessment, we'll give you a realistic session estimate, and you can decide how to proceed from there.

Honestly, most people can't tell on their own, and that's fine — that's what the initial assessment is for. Tell us what's bothering you and how it's affecting your day-to-day, and we'll recommend the right approach, whether that's one service or a combination.
