What Is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession focused on improving movement, physical function and independence. Whether you are recovering from an injury, surgery, sports injury or dealing with persistent joint, muscle or spine problems, physiotherapy aims to understand why the problem is occurring, not simply where you feel pain.
We believe successful recovery starts with understanding the cause of the problem. A detailed assessment helps identify limitations in movement, strength, flexibility, balance and overall physical function.
Physiotherapy can support recovery from:
- Back and neck pain
- Joint and muscle problems
- Sports injuries
- Post operative conditions
- Reduced mobility and stiffness
- Muscle weakness
- Balance and movement problems
- Work or activity related injuries
Depending on the condition, rehabilitation may include exercise therapy, mobility training, strengthening, manual therapy, balance training, patient education and progressive functional rehabilitation.
The Science of Recovery
Recovery is a process, not a single treatment.
Assessment → Pain Management → Mobility → Strength → Functional Training → Return to Activity
As symptoms improve, rehabilitation should gradually progress toward restoring normal movement and physical capacity. Simply reducing pain is not always enough. Strength, mobility and movement control may still need improvement to reduce the risk of recurring problems.
Personalised Rehabilitation: Every patient is different. Age, injury, lifestyle, occupation, physical fitness and personal goals can all affect recovery.
That is why at BODY ALIGN, rehabilitation is planned according to the individual’s condition and progress rather than using the same treatment approach for everyone.
Our goal is to build BODY ALIGN into a trusted, modern and results-driven rehabilitation centre where every patient receives personalized care based on proper assessment, movement science and evidence-based treatment.
